online roundtable

As water supply and wastewater disposal represent energy-intensive services, improving energy efficiency in the water and sanitation sector is crucial for meeting future energy demands and to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. The roundtable provides a platform for the exchange of know-how and new developments in the context of water, sanitation and related energy saving potentials in Senegal. It also stresses business opportunities for the (German) private sector in these areas, outlines current investment programs and best practices.

The Roundtable is jointly organized by German Water Partnership (GWP) and the German Federal Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW), in collaboration with the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation (operating under the Invest for Jobs brand) and the Business Scouts for Development Programme (BSfD) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
