The SME Alliance

The Alliance brings together industry associations with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises under the umbrella of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses to form a common political voice. Together, we advocate for legislation that is friendly to small and medium-sized businesses and the political demands of your association.

With more than 30 partner associations, the SME Alliance represents interests of over 900,000 entrepreneurs. This alliance is unique in the association landscape and thus has extraordinary clout for SMEs. The concentrated expertise of the diverse, industry-specific and cross-industry partner associations not only provides constructive criticism but also always offers forward-looking solutions – for direct legislative implementation and a strong SME sector in Germany.

Together we are heard by political decision-makers, both in European and federal politics as well as at the state level. Thanks to its broad and well-founded network, the SME Alliance is in constant dialogue with politicians and continuously establishes valuable contacts for you. In regular meetings, the alliance partners can enter into a direct exchange with ministries, members of the government and high-ranking politicians.
